As you may know, I am a member of the Board of Directors for Project Create. I joined the Board because I am committed to accessible, high-quality arts education programming for all children, youth and families in Washington, DC, regardless of their zip code. I believe in the healing and transformative power of the arts for young people and their parents.

That's why I am raising funds to support PROJECT CREATE in their campaign to provide equitable access to creative, nurturing environments where art makes a big difference in the lives of some of our most vulnerable District residents. Since 1994, Project Create teaching artists, art therapists and staff have delivered programs to DC children and youth that contributes to their healing and growth. Especially now, when families need extra support, Project Create is ready and able to provide it.
